My Gun is having issues firing BBs - Troubleshoots

Gun is misfiring.

(List is categorized from Easy to Hard Troubleshoots)

Issue: Magazine not fully inserted
Fix: Ensure the magazine is fully seated and clicked in. You will hear the bbs being fed into the hop-up unit as well.

Issue: Magazine well is not properly sized for the magazine
Fix: Insert the magazine and move the magazine front and back, left and right, until you find that “sweet spot” that the magazine is going to feed in. From there, you can use a piece of soft side velcro to shim the magazine to stay in that “sweet spot”.

Issue: Bucking lips are too long
Fix: Look into the feeding tube of the hop-up and see if the bucking is protruding into the chamber a lot. A little bit is going to be normal but excessive can create feeding issues.

Issue: Mid-Cap Syndrome
Fix: Caused from the magazine spring tension being too much on the air nozzle. Common fix is not loading the magazine all the way to max capacity. Deeper fix is inspecting the air nozzle and the tappet plate to try and reinforce it from being flexible from tension. That would be using a tappet plate that is stiffer plastic.

Issue: Nozzle/Tappet Timing issue
Fix: Open gearbox and inspect tappet plate and sector delay chip/sector gear tappet peg. Move by hand and the air nozzle should be moving forward as the sector gear is release the piston.
